The Department of Geriatric Dentistry, West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, is an interdisciplinary and comprehensive dental center, which integrates oral treatment with teaching practice of geriatric stomatology. Now, we are the director department of the Geriatric Dentistry Committee of the Chinese Stomatology Association and the Geriatric Dentistry Committee of the Sichuan Stomatology Association.

We provide diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases for the elderly, including dental/endodontic/periapical diseases, periodontal diseases, dental defect and deficiency problems. We also design the personalized therapeutic regimen and provide oral health management guidance for the public. Specific diagnosis and treatment projects include dental caries treatment, restoration and conservation treatment of residual crowns and roots, minimally invasive repair technology, microscopic root canal treatment, systematic treatment of periodontal diseases, all-ceramic crown restoration, fixed bridge, dental veneer, inlay restoration, functional occlusal reconstruction, removable dentures, precision attachment denture restoration, implant, and other dental care services.

There are advanced dental medical equipment and a high-level medical team. In line with the principle of “A physician must have a caring heart and a dedicated spirit”, we aim to provide patients with high-quality and efficient healthcare services, fully meet the needs of the public, and offer them a one-stop service experience.
