Prof. Shen is a dedicated researcher and practitioner specializing in prosthodontics and dental implantology. His research interests encompass various areas, including sensory modulation in oral and maxillofacial regions, as well as the application of AI and digital technology in prosthetic and esthetic dentistry. He has successfully led six national projects including the National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Key Technologies R & D Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as other eight other scientific projects, demonstrating his expertise and commitment.

Prof. Shen’s contributions to the academic community are substantial. He has published over 60 articles and authored five monographs. In recognition of his accomplishments, he has received prestigious accolades. Furthermore, Prof. Shen holds esteemed positions within various professional organizations. He is a fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He has also been elected as the Chair of the IADR Membership & Recruitment Committee. Within the Chinese Stomatology Association (CSA), he serves as an executive member of the Prosthodontics Committee and holds vice-chairman positions in both the Stomatological Equipment Society and the Stomatologist Society of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
