Advances in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics
Jan. 04 2023

Although graduate students have the basic knowledge and some practical experience in the field of operative dentistry and endodontics, the continued expansion of expertise and improvement of surgical skills pose significant challenges for them. To help student solve these problems, we develop the online course titled “Advances in operative dentistry and endodontics”.

This course is instructed by a team of qualified academic and clinical professionals. It covers state-of-the-art advances in both difficulty assessment systems and clinical procedures for caries treatment and prevention, root canal therapy, tooth bleaching and apical microsurgery. Additionally, guidelines for the management of tooth trauma, intentional tooth replantation and pulp revascularization therapy are present.

Key features of this course include the integration of newly proposed difficulty assessment systems in operative dentistry and endodontics with the foundational knowledge in undergraduate textbooks. It also explores cutting-edge topics in operative dentistry and endodontics, such as pulp regeneration and intentional tooth replantation, to broaden students’ horizons. The course incorporates a wealth of research literature to train students in applying evidence-based medicine in clinical practice. Furthermore, digital tools such as videos are extensively used to demonstrate the clinical procedures in detail to improve the proficiency of interns.
