April 20, 2025 - AO Craniomaxillofacial (AOCMF) Fellowship Center was launched at West China Hospital of Stomatology (WCHS), Sichuan University. The event brought together Prof. Amir Elbarbary (Chair, AOCMF International Board), Prof. Gopal Krishnan (Chair, AOCMF Asia-Pacific Board), and leaders from AOCMF China Council and WCHS. 

Prof. Xianglong Han, dean of WCHS highlighted the center’s dual role as both an honor and a responsibility, pledging to advance international education standards and position WCHS as a leading academic exchange platform. Following the ceremony, international and domestic experts engaged with WCHS surgical teams, exchanging insights on the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Since 2003, WCHS has collaborated with AOCMF on training programs and surgeon exchanges. The hospital will utilize advanced curricula and global partnerships to foster cross-border medical collaboration.
