The 20th Annual Conference on Dental Education, organized by the Division of Stomatological Education of the Chinese Stomatological Association and co-hosted by WCSS and the School of Stomatology at Fujian Medical University, was successfully held from August 1 to 3, 2025 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

Professor Ye Ling, Vice President of Sichuan University and Chair of the Division, delivered the opening address.The ceremony was presided over by Dean of WCSS, Professor Han Xianglong. Throughout the event, faculty and students from our institution delivered outstanding performances and achieved remarkable results, demonstrating the strength of our educational programs.

Key Highlights included keynote speeches by Prof. Ye on virtual teaching reform, Dean Han on the development of textbook systems, and Vice Dean Shen Jiefei on digital innovation in dental education.

Young lecturer Ding Zhangfan received high praise for his teaching demonstration, and a humanities performance portraying the growth of dental students was also warmly received.

AI-enhanced lesson designs and detailed student notes further highlighted our school’s modern teaching approaches.

The conference provided a valuable platform for exchange among dental educators nationwide. Looking ahead, our college will continue to lead in digital transformation and educational reform, enhancing the quality of talent training and contributing to the advancement of dental education in China.
