
Students from the West China School of Stomatology (WCSS), Sichuan University, delivered outstanding performances at the 24th Chinese University Swimming Championships (Southern Division), held in Xiamen from November 8–12. Their contributions were pivotal in propelling Sichuan University’s swimming team to top national honors—including a first-place finish in the Women’s Group C-A Overall Team Score.
Individual Highlights
Cai Yimeng, a doctoral candidate in Prosthodontics, dominated the women’s sprint events:
Gold Medal: Women's Group A 50m Freestyle
Silver Medal: Women's Group A 100m Freestyle

Chen Junye, an undergraduate from the Class of 2023, excelled in distance events:
