In November 2025, Assoc. Prof. Duan Peipei from the Department of Orthodontics, West China School/Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, visited the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. 

During her visit, she delivered a lecture titled "Digital and AI-Enhanced Orthodontic Education," shared the School's advancements in integrating digital technologies into teaching, covering areas such as digital diagnosis, virtual simulation, and blended learning. The audiences actively participated in discussions and expressed strong interest in these innovative teaching practices.
