On March 25, global higher education analyst QS released its 2026 World University Rankings by Subject. For the first time, West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University (WCSS SCU) was ranked among the global top 10 in dentistry, the highest placement ever achieved by a Chinese mainland institution in this subject.

The 2026 QS rankings cover 55 subjects. Dentistry, as a key discipline within Life Sciences & Medicine, demonstrates the international academic influence of WCSS SCU through this outstanding result.

Looking ahead, WCSS SCU will remain committed to advancing its world-class discipline during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, further strengthening the global competitiveness of Chinese stomatology.
