West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University (WCSS) hosted a themed visit on Digital Healthcare on July 26 as part of the APEC Digital Weeks 2026 in Chengdu, welcoming delegates from across the Asia-Pacific. 

The delegation toured the West China Museum of Stomatology and the IDEA Future Learning Center, where they saw live demonstrations of China's first specialized AI model for stomatology, domestic robotic surgical systems, smart teaching tools, and integrated digital treatment platforms. The demonstrations received extensive media attention.

Driven by national healthcare informatization goals, WCSS is accelerating the integration of AI, big data, and other emerging technologies into stomatology, contributing to the global advancement of digital oral health.
