In response to the Belt and Road Initiative and its call for closer health cooperation among partner countries, the West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, is launching the International Training Course on Minimally Invasive Digital Implant Technology from November 15 to 29, 2026. The program is open to dental professionals from Belt and Road partner countries, with a focus on Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, and Central & Eastern Europe.
As one of China's leading institutions in stomatology, West China Hospital of Stomatology will share its clinical expertise and teaching resources in digital implant dentistry with participants through lectures, hands-on workshops, surgical observation, and case discussions. The program aims to improve the diagnosis and treatment capacity of dental professionals in partner countries, promote the standardized application of minimally invasive digital implant technology, and strengthen exchange and cooperation in oral health along the Belt and Road.
Five modules form a complete training loop. The program spans 15 days (including registration and departure) and is held at the West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University.
Target Applicants: Dental professionals from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, with a focus on Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, and Central & Eastern Europe.
Class Size: 20 participants.
Professional Background: Medical and nursing professionals specializing in stomatology (dental medicine) who are engaged in dental implant–related work.
Age: Not older than 60 years.
Language: English listening, speaking, reading, and writing proficiency sufficient for attending lectures and participating in academic discussions.
Costs: Round-trip international travel expenses are borne by the participants themselves; accommodation and meals during the training period are covered by the organizer.
