On September 29, 2026, Professor Cao Jiannong, Vice President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), visited the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University. He was accompanied by Chen Jiahui of PolyU and Yuan Wen, Deputy Director of Sichuan University's Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs. Dean Han Xianglong welcomed the delegation on behalf of the School.

The delegation toured the West China Museum of Stomatology and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, and exchanged views on the use of AI in medical education.

The visit helped strengthen ties between the two institutions and laid the groundwork for future cooperation.
