On October 27th, 2018, the competition of the first online mooc course construction for medical education, jointly organized by the People’s Medical Publishing House and the Educational Technology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, were held. The "Overview of Caries" led by Dr. Zhou Xuedong, the National-level Teacher, won the first prize of the undergraduate-group competition. The course of " Family Oral Guard Training Course" led by Associate Professor Sun Jianxun won the first prize of the curriculum design competition in the undergraduate group.

The competition received a total of 675 entries from 71 schools and universities (including 53 undergraduate colleges and 18 vocational colleges), consisting of 186 curriculum design works and 489 micro-classes. After material review, expert evaluation and comprehensive evaluation, 257 award-winning works were selected. Two professors of our school won the first prizes of two competitions, which indicated the innovative ability and first-class teaching level of our faculty.
