The 2019 University Immersion Program (UIP) of our school officially begun on July 1st, 2019. Teaching faculty from Harvard University School of Dentistry and the dean of Tohoku University School of Dentistry, Professor Sasaki, attended the “International Education Week” and gave lectures in the master class. Nearly 700 domestic undergraduate students from our school and 26 international dental students from 6 countries, including the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Thailand and Myanmar, participated in this program.

Three teaching modules have been established in the “International Education Week” of our school: professional vision expansion, hand skills training, and scientific research capacity improvement. The high-level "International Education Week" is an important activity for the international development of stomatology education in our school. It also provides an important platform for implementing advanced international education, strengthening international exchanges, and cultivating talents with international competitiveness. It is also one of the important measures for the goal of building up “First-class Stomatology Education”.
