From July 7th to 8th, 2019, the International Symposium on Virtual Simulation Preclinical Training for Dental Education, hosted by the Stomatology Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education and organized by our hospital, was held in Chengdu. The theme of this conference is the construction of virtual simulation golden courses in preclinical education, covering the cutting-edge concepts, advanced applications, teaching results, case demonstrations, and talent training model construction. The symposium built domestic and foreign educators a bridge for mutual learning, consultation, and integration.

The construction of golden courses is the key to improve the quality of dental personnel training and stimulate the development of students. The symposium is of great significance for advancing the construction of virtual simulation and preclinical gold courses. It opened up a new way of intelligent education. Our school will seize this opportunity to take the informatization of experimental teaching as an important measure in systemic reformation in higher education, cling to the "last mile" of undergraduate teaching, and promote higher education of stomatology with high-quality experimental teaching.
