2018 ICD International Council Meeting was held in New York on Nov. 25-27th. ICD China Section delegates, President Zhou Xuedong, Registrar Chen Qianming, Administrative Assistants Jiang Yan and Hong Xiao, attended the meeting. Annual reports of the ICD central office as well as all the standing committees were reviewed. Proposals were discussed and analyzed, regulations on annual due adjustments were discussed and voted on. Annual report of the ICD China Section was highly valued by the council. The “Belt and Road” Proposal jointly proposed by Section XIII-China and Section XV were unanimously accepted and praised by the council.

Dr. Bettie McKaig from the US was elected the international president of ICD at the council meeting.
